Agenda: New Jersey Issues:
CMMNJ Condemns Threats of Violence —
Renews Call for Compassionate Patient Policy:
The Coalition for Medical Marijuana – New Jersey (CMMNJ) has learned of
a reported threat by an individual frustrated over the lack of home
cultivation rights in New Jersey. The matter was referred immediately to
law enforcement and the Cannabis Regulatory Commission for review.
CMMNJ strongly condemns all threats of violence. Our organization has
always stood for peaceful advocacy, education, and compassion for
patients. Violence has no place in the medical cannabis movement.
We recognize that patients are suffering due to the lack of affordable
access and the continued criminalization of home cultivation. This
frustration must be addressed through legislation, compassion, and public
dialogue — never through threats or violence. CMMNJ remains committed to
working with legislators, regulators, and the community to ensure that all
patients have safe, legal, and affordable access to plant medicine.
The NJ CRC recently approved four
cannabis consumption lounges. Two of these cannabis
lounges are in Atlantic City—SunnyTien and High Rollers—with
others--Gynsyng and URB’N Dispensary--opening in Merchantville and Newark. They
are community hubs where adults 21 and over can legally and safely consume
cannabis in a social setting. For $5,
visitors can gain 30-minute access or for $1,200 get an annual pass.
Judge cannabis in NJ by buying a kit. Consumers have
until 9/28/25 to report on the aesthetics,
aroma, taste, and effects of products.
Marvin’s Garden Dispensary is soon
to open in A.C. and will honor the service and sacrifice of our veterans. “We
aim to share real stories, highlight testimonies, and educate the public on how
cannabis can play a role in a more holistic and compassionate approach to
aftercare.” Contact: Barbie Simmons, Store Mgr., 417-224-8920, barbie@redoakeht.com

7 month, and 1 day blockade of an informational committee hearing for Sen.
Singleton’s medical cannabis home-grow bill, S1393, shows no signs of abating.

(D-NJ-11), who is pro-cannabis, and the Republican former Assemblyman Jack

Dear Tom and Staff:
On behalf of the
Board of Directors of the Coalition for Medical Marijuana--New Jersey,
Inc. (CMMNJ), I would like to personally thank you for your very generous
Patient Aid Fundraiser for CMMNJ on August 16, 2025. CMMNJ raised $1,301 at
this event. No goods or services were provided to you for your donation. As
CMMNJ is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, your donation is income tax
deductible. All funds donated to CMMNJ are used to provide education about the
medical benefits of marijuana and other plant medicine, as well as about the
harms of drug prohibition.
We have made
significant progress in spreading the truth about marijuana despite the
decades-long campaign of misinformation conducted by the federal government.
This is reflected in legislation legalizing the medical and adult use of
cannabis in New Jersey.
But there is still
much to do. We will not rest until all New Jersey residents who can benefit
from cannabis will have safe, legal, and affordable access to this therapeutic
agent, and all plant medicine. Certainly, this includes home cultivation
rights!
Thanks again,
Ken Wolski, RN,
